Michael J. Totten is focussing on Iran. He's prolly right. It's prolly more like a combination of 1968 Prague, and 1989.
Already, certainly not the velvet revolution, since there are riot police and beatings of the students. Yet the need to import Afghan & Palestinian bullies, because the mullahs don't trust their own Iranian army to control the Iranian students.
The mullah fear of army control is similar to the commie fear in 89. Using bullies to inflict beating is more like 68 -- but there's no outside big power likely to send in tanks to help the mullah gov't.
